Upzoning Alert
San Francisco’s proposed zoning changes along Clement and Geary threaten to permanently alter the fabric of Lincoln Manor. Tall developments would block the historic views from Shore View Avenue and disrupt the character of this century-old neighborhood.
We advocate for thoughtful development that respects the city’s architectural heritage and the livability of its established neighborhoods.
The first neighboorhood meeting to discuss our response was held on May 15, 2025 and you can read the meeting minutes.

The Great Highway Closure
The closure of this vital north-south commuter route has strained the Outer Richmond. What was once a scenic bypass and emergency corridor is now shuttered, impacting families, seniors, and workers, including the veterans and staff of the nearby VA Hospital.
The city cannot support the proposed near doubling of units in the outer Richmond while having shut off the main north-south artery our neighborhood relied on to commute to the job-heavy peninsula. At a minimum, our officials need to discuss serious transportation infrastructure (which takes years, if not decades, to build) before taking such drastic upzoning measures to this car-dependent neighborhood.
